Original Summary
I can never make decisions, so I built a table of three philosophers to make them for me. Try it: https://sage-verdict.vercel.app/?ref=reddit (free, no sign-up) You type a dilemma ("should I quit my job to become a street musician?") and Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and Kant each vote YES or NO. No "it depends". The card shows the split, and on a 2–1 the lone holdout gets the spotlight. Last week Nietzsche was the only YES on the street musician one, which felt right. How it works, for the curious: - The votes come from a classifier model that returns probabilities, so each philosopher has a strength ("leaning no" vs "absolutely not"), not just a side. Each vote is grounded in passages from that philosopher's own writing, and you can open the passages. - While you type, the three faces react. Every pause, the text gets scored for how each of them would feel (worry, disapproval, sympathy...), and an expression engine maps that to facial muscle movements on 3D heads I modeled in Blender. - Night mode turns the café into a pub. The vote direction stays the same, they just get louder about it, and the share card gets a little moon so nobody mistakes it for the sober verdict. - Your dilemma isn't stored. It's processed in memory and that's it. - English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. What I learned: the funniest part isn't the verdict, it's the disagreement. A 3–0 is fine, a 2–1 is what people screenshot. I'd love to hear which philosopher surprised you, and whether you'd send the card to anyone. submitted by /u/Amazing-Amphibian849 [link] [comments]
