Original Summary

After reading On Writing Well, I wanted a way to practise writing without endlessly fiddling with sentences. So I built a small app that feels like a typewriter. There's no backspace, instead you type a draft straight through, mark it up with a red pen, then type the next draft beside the old one. It's free and open source. It works offline, theres a Mac app, and you can self-host it. Link: https://beeline.ink GitHub: https://github.com/NikChao/beeline submitted by /u/Ecstatic-Grape8823 [link] [comments]
