Original Summary
I'm building Wonderday, a quote and reflection app that supports 13 languages. A user recently mentioned that the translation in their language felt natural, which was nice to hear. For this kind of app, I care about the tone as much as the meaning. A quote can be grammatically correct but still sound stiff or awkward. How do other solo developers check this in languages they don't speak? Do you ask native-speaking testers, hire someone to review the text, or do something else? I'm especially interested in how you keep up with this when you add or change text in an update. submitted by /u/wonderday_maker [link] [comments]
