Just sharing to vent a little, but mostly to warn others and also if anyone has suggestions of decentralized social media apps.<p>It could have been a mistake or maybe my account got compromised, I guess I&#x27;ll know at some point later, but it&#x27;s incredibly frustrating there is zero communication, and it just blocks my account from any device.<p>It feels like being locked from your own rented house. Yes it&#x27;s not my house, but I was renting it (paying premium subscription), and there was absolutely no warning or communication.<p>I don&#x27;t what steps can be done to prevent this either. I&#x27;m afraid of trying to create another account in any other social media now. I&#x27;m thinking of doing Fediverse&#x2F;Mastodon and just having my own website.<p>Anyway, watchout if you have an account. I was literally just posting project updates and commenting on engineering stuff and then I refreshed the page and now it&#x27;s in limbo potentially gone forever.
