Original Summary
Hey, I'm Ankit, the person building Firstlight. A few conversations with makers here got me thinking about how to make early product feedback more useful. My attempt is a small community where a launch includes screenshots and one specific testing task. For example: "Try creating a draft and tell me which step is confusing." People can respond in comments or chat privately with the maker. The beta is live, and I'd like feedback on the basic flow before trying to grow the community. If you have 5–10 minutes, try setting up a profile, making a product draft with a screenshot and a testing question, then leaving a comment on the Firstlight test launch. You can keep your draft private; publishing goes through review. What I'd most like to know: did you understand what to do, and would the testing-task approach make you more likely to try someone else's side project? If you don't want to sign up, thoughts on the public pages are useful too. https://firstlight-beta.onrender.com/ It's free, uses Google or email-code sign-in, and is capped at 33 total account creations including mine. There isn't an established audience yet. The first visit can be slow while the free host wakes up; please use non-sensitive sample content.
