Original Summary

Every day at work, I found myself typing the same things into GitHub's search bar: - review-requested:@me is:open to find PRs waiting on me - -author:app/dependabot -author:app/renovate to filter out dozens of automated bot bumps - is:open -is:draft review:approved status:success to see what was ready to merge GitHub's native dropdowns require too many clicks, and typing the syntax manually throughout the day got annoying. So over the weekend, I built GitHub PR Filter : a lightweight, open-source browser extension that puts 1-click filter chips right above the PR list. Key features: - Quick preset chips ( Needs My Review , Created by Me , Ready to Merge , Exclude Bots , Drafts ). - Visual criteria dropdown for toggling open/closed, review approval, and CI status without remembering query syntax. - Lets you save your own custom search combinations as reusable chips. - Uses GitHub's Primer styling so it blends into light, dark, and dimmed themes naturally. - 100% client-side with zero telemetry or token requirements. It's open source (MIT), and I'm looking for contributors who want to help add Firefox support or suggest new preset workflows: Extension Link: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/github-pr-filter/cheldmlmigimlgmjmpbapcfmlbbofghm GitHub: https://github.com/its-debojyoti-dey/github-pr-filter Let me know what you think or what filters you'd find useful! submitted by /u/DeyD_69 [link] [comments]
