Original Summary

I’ve released Advaita Vedanta: Offline Books , a free Android reading app. I’m the developer, and the project brings these texts together in one library with their reading content bundled on the device. You can open the included books without an internet connection. There are no ads, accounts, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Included books and collections (all free): Atma Bodha Bhagavad Gita, with commentary Upanishads Vivekachudamani Ashtavakra Gita Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda Drg Drsya Viveka Aparokshanubhuti Avadhuta Gita Yoga Vasishta Sara Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Quotes Dhammapada, included as a companion Buddhist resource The reader includes book and chapter search, passage search, bookmarks, automatic resume, adjustable text size, and paper, sepia, and night modes. Selecting a word opens offline English meanings or Sanskrit/Vedanta study notes where available. It can also read aloud using your phone’s installed voices, with an adjustable pace. An offline voice must be installed; Sanskrit pronunciation varies by voice, and playback pauses when the app leaves the foreground. The app runs on Android 7.0 and later. Texts are prepared from VivekaVani’s spiritual resources, with source credits retained. This is an independent reader, unaffiliated with VivekaVani. Google Play I’d appreciate feedback on the reading experience, navigation, and word lookup. submitted by /u/Prestigious-Fun-3415 [link] [comments]
