Original Summary
We posted a very early idea that we were replacing having a CRM with speaking directly to Claude, and having Claude keep track of our sales leads for us. This idea blew up on r/ClaudeGTM , and we got 200+ comments, some asking to try out our setup, some tearing us apart, and 35 of them signing up to a waitlist. We hadn't written almost any code at this point, and did this to stress test the market. What followed after was a lot of great conversations with redditors. Obviously not everyone wanted to have a meeting, but some did. We asked tons of questions, faced a lot of scrutiny, security concerns being a big one. A tough couple of months but something similar to a product started taking form. One of my favourite examples of an opinion that shaped our product: What happens when (not if) Claude gets it wrong? -> We did so Claude can't change anything on its own anymore. It proposes updates, and you approve them. (Human in the loop) Not having seat-based pricing is also something that came from a redditors strong belief that seatbased is not for the agent era. A few months later and now we have launched our tool, with our first paying customer being that one redditor in denmark! So next time you're building something, try feeling the waters a bit, and shape the product ruthlessly towards what people want. Just having others perspectives, listening to their fears and hopes, is what made our CRM good enough to launch. Did you ever get stuck building without showing, and has anyone else flipped the script like this? submitted by /u/Fnepf [link] [comments]
