Original Summary

I'm a student considering building a small PaaS (Platform as a Service) focused initially on Indian students, developers, and small businesses. The basic idea: Connect GitHub → select a project → click Deploy → get a live application. The platform would handle the infrastructure underneath, so users don't have to manually configure VPS, Docker, Nginx, HTTPS, etc. I'm not trying to become another AWS or generic VPS provider. I want to compete on simplicity, affordability, and easy deployment. What do you think? Would this actually work? Is the Indian student/developer market large enough for this? What would make you choose this over Render, Railway, Vercel, Heroku, DigitalOcean, etc.? What features would be essential before you'd pay for it? If you were building this, what would you do differently? submitted by /u/stuwet [link] [comments]
