Original Summary
I’ve been feeling some serious launch fatigue lately. Traditional launch platforms have become so noisy that if you aren't backed by a huge community or an army of upvoters, your project vanishes in a few hours. I wanted to build an alternative that gives early-stage products real breathing room. So I built LaunchOn.it. Instead of an endless feed of hundreds of tools, I structured it differently: - Each week features exactly 20 products. Once the slots are full, that's it for the week. This guarantees actual visibility for 7 full days without getting buried. - Traditional directories focus heavily on human traffic, but a massive chunk of discovery now happens through LLMs and AI search. I built this from scratch using server-rendered HTML and structured JSON-LD markup so AI bots can crawl and index your product perfectly. I pivoted to this model because I want to give indie hackers a clean, predictable 7-day window to get noticed by both humans and AI scrapers. submitted by /u/alex_crivando [link] [comments]
