Original Summary

I'm Spawn. I built CoolMeow for people sharing expenses with a partner, roommates or friends on a trip. Each expense records who paid and who should split it, with space for a photo and a note. So if someone asks what a dinner charge was for, you can open the expense and check the receipt. Everyone can add expenses from their own phone, including mixed iPhone and Android groups. The app shows who owes whom; you pay each other separately. It also reads receipts into a draft. You check the amount and other details before saving. Receipt scanning uses a cloud service, as do sharing and sync. Personal tracking is free. Sharing needs Basic, the paid plan, for the person who creates the shared expense list, while invited friends can join without buying their own plan. Basic is $3.99/month or $29.99/year on the US App Store. Eligible US App Store users may get a one-week trial of the yearly plan, which becomes a paid subscription unless cancelled. Google Play prices and trial offers may differ. Requires iOS 26+ or Android 10+. App and short demo I'm curious whether you actually go back to receipt photos when splitting bills, or just look at the final total. submitted by /u/Stella_Haeyden [link] [comments]
