A few months ago I lost my job. Between applications, I started building something I'd always wanted: daily geography games, like Wordle but for countries. It's called GeoCake. What's in it: 5 short daily games, plus a "daily challenge" that scores all 5 out of 100 A weekly league you can set up with friends Spanish and English versions Stack, for the curious: Cloudflare Pages, Supabase for the league, Umami for analytics. Total cost so far: the domain. The hard part isn't building, it's getting people who aren't my friends to try it.
