What if instead of just upvoting an app, you could actually back it. Just hear my weird idea. Like, you see something interesting, try the app, and if you believe in it, buy some shares and see how it performs. Originally I thought about making it real, but once you bring actual money into it the whole thing becomes way too complicated legally. So I just built it as a fun community game. Users can publish their apps as an IPO and they get listed instantly. Other users can discover them, try the product, buy virtual shares using game credits and see how their picks perform. Every 7 days is a new round, so fresh apps get their own time instead of being buried by older ones. Once an app is IPOed it still keeps its own dedicated page after the round. There is also a leaderboard for fun. If someone is consistently picking good apps and building a good portfolio, you can easily find and follow them. The game credits have no real money value at all. No cash out, no crypto, nothing like that. Still experimenting with it, but I thought it was a fun way to make discovering apps a little more interesting than just clicking an upvote. Completely free, No ads, no sponsorships, just a google login if you want to buy and sell to reduce spam.
