Original Summary

My co-founder and I built this, and it's live now. The idea came from a simple test. Ask ChatGPT "who's the best [what you sell] in [your country]" and see if you're in the answer. Last week we did that properly for three companies: 5 real buyer questions each, asked to ChatGPT, Google's AI and Claude, so 15 answers per company. All three were named in 0 of 15. For one of them, a competitor came up in 14 of 15. What Far & Wide does: asks the questions your buyers ask, several times, on the AI platforms you pick keeps three things apart: your site cited as a source link, your brand named in the answer, and your brand actually recommended. Very different numbers. We learned that the hard way when our own first check counted a footnote as a mention shows why a competitor gets picked instead of you drafts the fixes to your pages and publishes them after you approve, with a rollback checks again later to see what actually moved There's a free scan if you want to see where your own brand stands: https://www.farandwide.io What I'd really like to hear: what would make you trust a tool like this enough to let it change your website? That's the part we think about most. submitted by /u/Unreliableweirdo4567 [link] [comments]
