Original Summary
No camera, no studio, no editor. Here's the process, in case it's useful: Script before tools. Our best video is a joke, not a feature list: the character realises he owes someone 10% of a startup he doesn't remember pitching. Story beats features every time. A cartoon mascot, not a realistic avatar. Our realistic AI presenter looked uncanny. A cartoon character (I designed him from a character sheet) reads as intentional. Animate a still, don't film. We composite the character into a scene first, then animate the whole image with HeyGen. No green screen and no cleanup. Voices from ElevenLabs, then check every line with a transcription pass. One line came out as "have listened" instead of "half-listened". You won't catch that by ear after the 10th listen. Screens are built as code (HTML rendered to video), not screen recordings, so they're pixel-sharp and easy to edit. Nine different hooks for the first 3 seconds. We're testing which one wins and I'll report back. What didn't work: the realistic avatar; fast cuts with small text (unreadable on a phone); and one on-screen stat we cut because we couldn't source it. If you can't back a claim, don't put it in an ad. The product is Reattend, a second brain that files itself (disclosure: I'm on the team). It's free with your own AI key. Happy to share the scripts and prompts in the comments. submitted by /u/psychofounder [link] [comments]
