Original Summary
Full disclosure up front, I'm one of the founders of ParrotNotes. Most AI notetakers work by sending a bot into your Zoom or Teams call. That's fine for video calls. But a lot of the salespeople I know do their real work face to face. Coffee with a client, a site walk, a meeting in someone's office. There's no call for a bot to join, so nothing gets saved, and a week later they're trying to remember what budget the client mentioned. So we built ParrotNotes. You hit record on your phone or Mac, leave it on the table, and it runs in the background. After the meeting you get: a transcript in any of 99+ languages (it copes when people switch languages mid-sentence) who said what a summary and the action items MEDDIC or BANT fields pulled out if it was a discovery call You can also ask the transcript things like "what did they say about timelines?" instead of scrubbing through audio. What's missing: there's no web app yet (iOS, Android and Mac for now), and CRM sync is still being built. It's free to start: https://parrotnotes.app I'd really like feedback from anyone who has a lot of in-person meetings. What would make you actually use something like this? submitted by /u/jaezn [link] [comments]
