Original Summary
We've made a free browser worksheet for budgeting the AI video footage you actually keep. The inputs are paid attempts, confirmed restored credits and approved unique seconds. You can enter a custom pack price for any provider. It keeps allocated generation cost separate from the minimum whole-pack purchase at the selected pack size. Try it: https://pesoszpesosz.github.io/seedancecheap-video-cookbook/?from=reddit Hypothetical example: six paid attempts, two credits restored and 18 seconds kept. With a five-credit pack priced at $11.25, four net credits allocate $9 to the batch, or $0.50 per approved second. The worksheet also shows $11.25 as the minimum selected-pack cash requirement after confirmed restorations, leaving one credit. Your actual cash spent depends on receipts, starting balance and timing; this is not an optimized mix of different packs. Delivered takes you discard still count as usage. A restored site credit is not a cash refund. Count each kept segment once; looping it doesn't create more unique footage. No account, uploads, analytics or external scripts. The source is open for inspection through the worksheet footer. It doesn't submit generations or accept payments. Editing, music, taxes, fees and your time are outside this small calculator, and it doesn't predict output quality. Disclosure: this is an educational companion published by SeedanceCheap, an independent AI video service. We prepared it with Codex. The default prices belong to our service; custom pricing is available. For your own production budgets, is cost per approved second useful, or would you rather track approved shots? That would help choose the next version. submitted by /u/Sufficient_Cress_676 [link] [comments]
