I’m planning to use Cline for a semester project where I implement vector search algorithms and build a lecture video retrieval demo. This is part of the Cline Campus Ambassador Program. One thing I want to be deliberate about is checking that I understand the code I end up with. My plan is to test approximate results against exact search, run parameter sweeps, inspect failure cases, and write up the recall, latency, and memory tradeoffs. I also want to document bugs and places where the agent’s suggestions need correction. For people using coding agents to learn systems or algorithms, what practices have helped you retain the knowledge? How do you check whether you could debug or rebuild the important parts yourself? submitted by /u/Reasonable_Action608 [link] [comments]
