Original Summary
I got annoyed that speed tests say "950 Mbps" while half the sites I actually use load slowly or not at all. So I built Caniload: instead of measuring bandwidth to a nearby server, it measures real access latency from your own browser to 89 popular sites across 8 categories, drawn as a live network topology map. It also tells you why a site fails: slow vs bot-filtered ("Blocked?") vs truly unreachable — lumping them as "down" is wrong. 100% client-side, single static page. No signup, no backend, nothing uploaded. Run it on different networks (home vs office vs VPN) and compare — the differences are the whole point.
