Original Summary

Grats to my fellow devs for launching your apps! Now we're all back at ground zero. Hah! We're all swimming up stream now and working on the secret sauce to try to stand out... I'm doing the same for my app notadate. Things I'm building out in my agent orchestration to help with this... And I'm happy to share with you what I'm researching to do so. SEO (slow growth, but a must overall) The reason I'm invested in this is less about the long term strat of SEO, as we know now pay per click campaigns skip to the front of the lines ... The real play here is to get enough content that's thorough enough to be included in AI chat bots (gpt/ Gemini etc ...). Given this is the new "let me Google this" . ASO - (app search optimization ) - this strat is important because it's the SEO of the app stores. You want to be found organically, you have to know where you stand and how strong your keywords are etc, to rank higher in the app store searches. I just found an app that's doing this exact same thing for you for 2k per month, I'm thinking wow... Solo developers (maybe just me) hah. Can't afford to shell out 2k in additional per month for this . So, we grab our duct tape and let's get to work creating the same approach. Here's what I have found out and how I'm going about it. Apple has an end point you can connect to , only after you have an actual app in the app store, that let's you try and rank your key words ... The strat here is chaining keywords as they score differently than a single word. E.g. single keyword "dating" (for a dating app) would be outrageously strong but inversally proportionally so are the chances of standing a out using it unless you have the $$$ to fight the big players , it's too expensive to fight for.. so chaining it gives you better odds . E.g. "dating local" etc.. By leveraging the endpoints ,I'm using an agent to test these combinations all out to refine the results that fit my app space. UGC - (user generated content) - this is more along that classical idea of marketing, but leveraging influencers... Creating content that is catchy quick and brings in clicks and views and ultimately converting them to downloads and installs. There is a ton of content here on this and great strats already outlined for this. One of the ones that has caught my attention is using influencer reactions with a snippet of your app to illustrate what it solves .etc. delivering value + reaction... This is my playbook for now. What success are you all having? What's working for you? What have you tried. Happy to help if I can in any of those or just throw around ideas as well. If you can, I'd love for you to try out my app. It's built exactly for this kind of networking. You can setup a 'notadate' to grab an espresso or a libation with other devs who want to talk shop and swap app store strategies. My goal is to help build communities
