Original Summary
I'm considering building a very small SaaS and want to validate the problem before building it. The idea is simple: Instead of constantly tracking expenses, the user chooses how often they want a spending summary: Daily / Weekly / Monthly For example: "You spent ₹6,240 this week." Food: ₹1,850 Travel: ₹920 Shopping: ₹1,430 Other: ₹2,040 And optionally: "That's 14% more than last week." The goal isn't to build another complicated budgeting app. It's more about giving people occasional awareness of where their money is going without annoying them with notifications throughout the day. I'm trying to figure out whether this is actually a problem worth solving. For SaaS founders here: - Would you consider this a useful product? - What would make you use it instead of an existing expense tracker? - Would manual expense entry be a deal-breaker? - Would automatic transaction/bank integration be essential? - What would you expect to pay for something this simple? I'd appreciate honest criticism, especially if you think the idea is weak. submitted by /u/Fit_Instruction4225 [link] [comments]
