Original Summary
I'm Jacob, the creator of Artifex. I shared an earlier version here last week; this time I wanted to show the actual app in action. I built it with AI coding assistance using Python/PySide6. This is the same 2:29 narrated walkthrough I published on YouTube. It shows Artifex reading an official webpage in its own Chrome session and saving the source to a project, plus editable memory, project chats, task controls, creative integrations and an earlier Godot build/launch. The recording is edited for length; the earlier game clip is labeled. It isn't a promise that every model can build a working game. Since that recording, 0.5.19 adds bounded recovery after failed checks, local archiving of older tool results, and a refreshed ten-chapter feature tour. Demo and details: https://undeathical.itch.io/artifex Windows 64-bit. The free demo offers 10 AI requests total for sample-project text editing and memory; the tour uses none. Browser, creative and program tools are full-edition features. Full Early Access is $99.99 one-time. Bring your own supported local model or API key; models, API credits and optional engines are separate. What would you want to see tested before buying? Setup and demo feedback here or on itch would be especially useful. submitted by /u/Undeathical [link] [comments]
