Original Summary

Hey r/SideProject ! 👋 I just launched Wisenum this week and would love your feedback. The idea Every lottery line has exactly the same chance of being drawn, but not the same number of people playing it. Birthdays, lucky 7s and neat patterns are super common, so if they come up, the prize gets split more ways. In 2005, 110 people matched five Powerball numbers at once, because they'd all played the numbers from the same fortune cookie 🥠 What it does 🔁 Replays your line against every past draw and shows what it would have won 👥 Tells you whether your numbers are a popular pick or a rare one ✨ Suggests versions that keep the numbers you love but fewer people play. For example: if 100 people play your line, maybe only 40 play the new version, so a win would be shared with far fewer people. It covers Powerball, Mega Millions, EuroMillions and EuroJackpot, in English, French and Spanish. The fun technical part Lotteries don't publish what people pick, so the estimate comes from a model fitted on the official number of winners in each prize tier. I didn't want to fool myself, so I wrote down the candidate models and the pass/fail rules before running anything, and kept the most recent 351 Powerball draws as an untouched test set. The current model passed; the previous one didn't. Stack: Next.js 16 + React 19, PostgreSQL, Better Auth (sign-in with email codes), Stripe, Resend, hosted on Railway behind Cloudflare. Business model: 3 free checks per game with no account or card, and a free account adds more each day. Paying unlocks more versions, either once for a single draw or with a Premium subscription, there is a plan for pool managers too. It doesn't sell tickets. I'd love feedback on: Does the homepage make the idea clear in 5 seconds? Do the results make sense at first glance, especially how popular your line is? Would you ever pay for something like this, and what would make it worth it? Thanks for checking it out! Happy to answer anything about the model or the build 😊 submitted by /u/nawmest [link] [comments]
