Me and a couple of friends were planning to go for a group vacation. The planning was horrible. People didnt know where we go, others forgot what they were supposed to organize for the group, dates and times were completely invisible and we had lost all of our documents somewhere between the various memes in the group chat. Documents and finances were scattered in different apps and everybody only had access to parts of the planning. We complained about it amongst the group and realized that everybody was sharing similar experiences with previous group holidays and that, in fact, this was not a problem of this specific constellation. Being mostly software engineers, we set out to solve this problem. There were mostly two distinct problems we wanted to tackle initially: Provide one platform that offers all the functionality instead of various specialized ones Make everyone feel included in the planning and be able to voice their wishes The solution: Voyu We designed a platform that offers everything you will ever need for a trip in one place.
