Original Summary

Couple years ago, I built a tool for creating and managing app store and play store screenshots called AppShots. Recently, I started working on it again full-time to make it THE GO TO TOOL for professional store screenshots creation/management. Ik many of us who are building apps struggle with this problem of creating store screenshots, hunting for good device frames, knowing store specific screenshot guidelines, and making sure the screenshots are good enough, and let's not talk about landscape screenshots and localized screenshots for different locale. And repeat this again for multiple apps, multiple design explorations. That time could be spent working on your app instead. AppShots solved this couple years ago, and now it's doing it again in a much better way! The 2.0 release comes with a full overhaul of the design editor to make it fast, intuitive to work with. A whole set of improvements to every part of the creation pipeline like 3D frames support Improved localization support to manage multiple locale designs with ease. Rich text support in screenshot designs. Easily manage portrait and landscape designs. Improved design assets. Professional set of templates, and ability to save your custom templates for re-use. A design editor where you don't struggle, and don't have to second guess how to do something. Easy to organize/manage multiple design sets for your frames. Design shortcuts. And many other additions that take screenshots creation from hours -> minutes. I believe that if you're someone who constantly struggles with screenshots creation problem, then AppShots will definitely help you out here. And if you feel like something is missing, you can always dm me, and expect the fix/feat ready in the next app updates. And rest assure, this is not a vibe coded app, I had spent months previously building it by hand and it's a cumulation of lot of my creative projects, and everything is well-thought out here by someone who cares about the design and experience for the end user. You can checkout AppShots here. Thanx! https://appshots.co/ submitted by /u/Rutvik110 [link] [comments]
