Original Summary

Hey all. For the past couple of months I've been building a desktop app that replies to customer messages for small businesses. The owner adds their business info and FAQ, and the AI answers customers using only that. If it can't answer, it passes the chat to the owner or real person. Everything stays on the owner's PC, with no cloud or server. What it does: - Replies on WhatsApp (there's a plan to add more messaging platform) - Passes chats to a person when needed and keeps a follow-up list - Saves contacts and leads - Works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini - Daily reply limit, opening hours, mute certain senders See demo vid here The reason I'm stopping, Currently my app uses an unofficial library (Baileys). It works, but some of the messaging platforms for example: Meta (messenger, instagram) needs a registered business, and I don't want to deal with that and all the legal stuff, and the fee and the hassle to register a business here in my country really a hassle and too expensive and so busy with my job. If you have a business already, most of the work is done. Adding the official WhatsApp API or Messenger, or Mail is just one new piece of code. Stack: TypeScript, Electron, NestJS, React + Tailwind/shadcn, SQLite (Drizzle). Just message me here and give me your contact submitted by /u/conv14 [link] [comments]
