I have added Google and Github as social logins, but I also want to put email based authentication as well. I have two choices: Magic links - expires in 1 hour Email otp - expires in 15 minutes & 6 digits I am not worried about the expiry period much, and I can't control it either. I want better authentication flow, and here're my thoughts: Magic links will need the user to have that email actually logged in on the same device. Else, he would need to transfer/share the link address someway. For email otp, user can have any device with that email logged in, as he would only need to read the otp.
