Original Summary

AirFliq is a small macOS menu bar app: right-click a file in Finder, drop it on a magnetic target next to your cursor, press a shortcut or click the menu bar, and Apple's AirDrop panel opens. When you drop a file on the target, the card folds into a paper plane and flies off the screen. Two things I learned shipping it for #Shipaton: Optional means skippable. My first release had a setup step for the Finder extension that people could get stuck on. Version 1.0.1 lets you skip any optional step and shows a small guide beside System Settings that notices the moment you flip the switch. Don't trust "success" callbacks blindly. On macOS 27, cancelling the AirDrop panel still tells the app the files were shared. My free tier (5 sends a day) was counting sends that never happened. A real send is reported while the AirDrop sheet is still on screen, a cancel only after it closes, so now only real sends count. Free with 5 sends a day, a 7-day trial that never charges automatically, and a one-time Lifetime Pro through RevenueCat. No subscription.
