Original Summary

A few months ago, I came up with the idea to create something that helps solve people’s problems. The idea was to build an app — a social platform that connects people around the world for meaningful text, voice, and video chats so one can talk, listen, learn, and make friends — safely and simply. The platform is designed to help people find real conversation, not endless scrolling since I noticed that too many apps, including social and communication trap users in feeds and passive browsing. Because of that, I made my app self-explanatory and officially named it “Talk To Somebody”, now available on the App Store. I also noticed on other apps, when someone wants to practice a language, hear another perspective, or just have a genuine exchange, feeds get in the way. That’s why I created Talk To Somebody to solve that by focusing entirely on live, one-to-one and small group conversations, removing distractions so you actually talk and listen. Core features Text conversations — Start quick one-on-one chats using optional prompts provided to break the ice, exchange phrases, or keep in touch with new friends. Voice calls — Practice pronunciation, have hands-free chats, or enjoy a more natural conversation than typing allows. Video conversations — Meet face-to-face for deeper connection, language coaching, or casual hangouts. Group conversations — Join small peer groups to discuss topics, run study sessions, or host guided practice with people at your level. Share with friends — Easily invite contacts, share memorable moments, and build a network of practice partners and trusted connections. Safe and secure environment — Built-in safeguards and simple privacy controls let you focus on conversation without worrying about safety. What really makes my app, Talk To Somebody, different is its single-minded focus on conversation. There are no algorithmic feeds, no endless content to scroll past, and no pressure to create posts. Instead, you get a comfortable space designed around real interactions: find a person who shares the same interests as you or a small group, choose text, voice, or video, and start talking live without needing to have that person’s phone number saved on your phone. That clarity keeps conversations genuine and helps you improve communication skills faster. My app is not a dating app. I strictly block and ban any sort of sexual content and solicitation, hate speech and discrimination, requests for money, scams and fraud, spam and malicious links, illegal activity of any kind, etc … Users also have the option to report or block the other participant if noticed any illegal activities that violate the community guidelines. Once on the platform, you’ll notice the difference immediately if you're learning a new language or trying to expand your social circle.
