Original Summary
I've spent the last few months building Ripples, a minimalist logic puzzle for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and it's finally out. Link : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ripples-liquid-logic-puzzles/id6808187706 The rule takes five seconds: tap a pool and it flips along with its four neighbours. Clear every pool to finish the wave. It's in the Lights Out family, but I wanted the feel to be the product: water that actually merges and ripples, sound and haptics on every tap. What's in it: 10 worlds, 160 waves, from 3×3 up to 7×7, with a new twist each world (walls, diagonal "crosscurrents", a tide that flips pools on its own, frozen pools) Every wave is checked by a solver for its true minimum, so three stars means you found the fewest taps A daily challenge where everyone gets the same board: one attempt, no undo, ranked by time in Game Center Five interaction packs that re-skin the same puzzle (Liquid is a real-time Metal shader) Apple Watch plays the whole campaign and syncs back Business side: free to play. Drops refill hourly, the in-game currency is earned or bought, rewarded ads are opt-in only, and there are no interstitials. I built it for RevenueCat's Shipaton hackathon. Stack: SwiftUI, Metal, a pure-Swift puzzle core with a GF(2) solver, RevenueCat, Game Center, CloudKit. Would love feedback on the difficulty curve and the first few minutes: https://ripples.s10n.app submitted by /u/r_sarath [link] [comments]
