working on this for Solana's Colosseum hackathon. The problem is simple. Solar makes sense economically if you can finance the project and remove upfront costs for consumers. In IL where I live the state has subsidies that cover the entire cost of the project. But the homeowner still has to go from day 0-180 using their own money. There's traditional construction financing for this but it doesn't meet everyone's financial metrics.
