I used Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 to generate me a video for Duolingo. Everything is real stock footage from Pexels. Claude: wrote the concept and storyboard picked one actor across a single shoot so the scenes match traced Duo from the official owl and animated him in code (blinks, glares, knocks) built the app screens, the streak counter and the confetti picked the music (Lyria) and synthesised every sound effect Brands are wary of using AI-generated videos because most users can still easily tell when a video has been generated by an AI. However, in this case, Claude built the ad. I think most underestimate how useful this can be for so many brands out there. It's really a great opportunity for people who want to do something creative (but at scale) on the side. Unofficial concept, not affiliated with Duolingo.
