Original Summary
I'm building SlotRecover, a tool for appointment-based businesses (salons, barbers, lash techs, tutors and so on). It sends confirmation emails automatically and, when a client cancels, offers the empty slot to the next person on the waitlist. I just changed how signup and pricing work and would like honest opinions: -Explore without a card. After signup you can skip the trial and look around the dashboard. You can set up services, staff and hours, but adding a real appointment asks you to activate first. -The trial starts when you activate, not at signup. You get 7 days free, but you authorize a card to start it, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. -Three plans: $29/month, $165 for 6 months (about 5% off) or $299/year (about 14% off). Every plan starts with the same 7-day trial. My questions: Does "explore first, card to start the trial" feel fair, or would you rather the trial need no card at all? Is $29/month reasonable for a small business that loses money on no-shows? Are the 6-month and yearly discounts enough to be worth choosing, or should the yearly one be bigger? Happy to share the link if anyone wants to try it. Mainly looking for gut reactions. submitted by /u/Happy-Secretary5604 [link] [comments]
