Original Summary
Disclosure: I’m the founder, this is my own product. KRI ( https://kri.rocks ) gives independent beauty businesses their own website with online booking: nail techs, barbers, hairdressers, lash and brow artists, massage therapists, tattoo artists. Setup takes about 10 minutes. You pick one of 13 business types and one of four designs, the typical services and prices are already filled in, you add the team and their hours and share the link. Clients book only free slots and get an email confirmation and a reminder. The page works in 32 languages. The SaaS decisions behind it: Vertical, not generic. A generic booking tool asks a nail tech to build everything from zero. With services pre-filled for the business type, setup is editing, not building. No commission and no marketplace. Many of the big players in beauty list you next to competing salons and tie part of the fee to your bookings. KRI is one monthly price; clients pay the business directly and only see that business. The value metric is the number of specialists who take bookings. A solo pro pays the base price, each extra person adds a little. Prices are set per country, in local currency where possible, and never below a fixed USD floor. One month free without a card. If someone is on another booking service, I move their services, prices, team and hours over for free. For those of you who have built SaaS for small local businesses: what value metric did you end up with? Per seat, per location or flat tiers, and what made you switch if you did? submitted by /u/Total-Reasonable [link] [comments]
