It may sound like another budgeting app, but I think Trajecti differs in a few important ways: 1) It’s built on guidance and control principles, the same class of mathematics used to control complex dynamic systems, 2) It provides quantitative daily spending guidance in a simple, interpretable display, and 3) It does not require spending categories, envelopes, or the user to interpret complex financial data. Rather than just showing you where the money went, Trajecti uses feedback from your actual spending to guide your daily spending based both on how much and how often spending occurs, to help you stay on course toward your goals. I’ve spent over 1500 hours developing it and have a fully functional Android Alpha ready for testing.
