Original Summary

It's a challenge I've noticed across my career journey. Most of the times the decision to work on something comes from the upper management. The decision happens outside the teams participation. And everyone on ground has to execute it as per their decided OKR's and expected KPIs to achieve the company's ROI within set timelines. We all know how that story goes eventually. Within the next quarter there's a need for recalibration of goals, efforts and priorities. So to test my hypothesis - (if a team is tasked with an 'X' objective to move the revenue goal post by 'Y'% then how should they align themselves around the bets that do so) As part of that hypothesis, I designed a 60 card deck system along with a notion companion doc (which documents each aspect of the growth map). The deck has variables for the growth equation, the levers - Brand, Content and Distribution (the lens through which they need to operate), the research, fundamentals, constraint, horizon, unknowns, bets etc. Basically a family of cards that functions as a framework to help a small team to determine and align the best path to their revenue delta. Which a team can run the session on its own and discover. (It takes about the time you need to watch a movie). Ideal for GTMs, small companies (10-15 team members). Currently designed for the D2C industry and running a small session test with a startup accelerator. I'd love to hear the take of this community on this. Thoughts/Feedback/Considerations/Questions.
