Most things worth printing are for somebody else, like a birthday card, the invitations to a wedding or a poster for a friend's gig. I built retro-print.com for making those, with the look of risograph ink and paper grain. You start from a photo you already have, then change the words and the inks until it looks like it came from you. It's just me working on it, and it's rough in places. It's free to start, but you need an account to keep your projects. Your photos and the prints you make stay yours, and you can use them commercially. For the curious: the front end is SvelteKit. The printing is done by a small Rust service I wrote that runs on the GPU. It splits the photo into inks, screens the halftone and puts it on the paper. No AI draws anything. It's your own photo and some plain image maths.
