Its 2026. No one should pay for screenshot tools just to add a background and a shadow before posting, so I made my own and open sourced it. You paste a screenshot and it lands already styled. From there you can shuffle through styles, add a window or phone frame, draw arrows and blur stuff out, then export at the right size for X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Product Hunt or a README. It can also export short animated clips (MP4/GIF), code snippets as images, and App Store screenshot sets. Everything happens in the browser. Your image never gets uploaded anywhere and there's no account. It's MIT licensed, so you can self host it or fork it.
