Short version of what I built: a tool that takes a 2 hour video and outputs a 60 second vertical recap with script, scene matching, voiceover and subtitles. Fully automatic, about 7 minutes per video. The interesting part is the growth story. I spent almost nothing on marketing. A few posts total over 2 months. In that time around 165 people registered on the site from different countries, most of them found it through Reddit search and organic discovery. The product was not even fully launched for part of that time. What I learned: Signups before launch happen if the landing page shows the output, not the process.
