Google Maps and Yelp only know about places with a business reason to be listed. There's no good way to find the actual quiet spot, a viewpoint, a stretch of beach, a park nobody's reviewing, because that stuff only ever spreads by word of mouth. HiFinder is a map people add those spots to directly. You browse what's near you, save the ones you like, and log a visit when you've actually been somewhere. There's also a live feature where you can flag that you're at a spot right now, so anyone nearby sees it and can show up. It's free to use right now, I haven't turned on any paid tier yet.
