Original Summary
hey everyone im just over 1 year into my first business (saas). ill get straight into it. currently sitting at 8 clients around $3k/mo rev have had 5 clients churn. reasons ill list below: - integration blocker with existing systems outside of my control - dont see value in product even with numbers in front of them - cheaper competitor offering bundle deal ive now tested multiple acquisition channels, with still more to go. but cold calls seem to work the best, meta ads seem okay, but lead quality is a big factor. email marketing is okay, havent seen huge results from that yet but its automated so with time will see. getting a video testimonial from one of the clients which ill use for advertising and hopefully that will get me much better quality leads. feel free to ask anything and provide feedback. i would really like to scale this to $10-20k/mo and exit p.s. also would love to have some reference point of how im doing, everyone i know doing a solo venture is in service business space and its very discouraging to see them easily doing over $10k/mo rev really quickly, but their business is much more up and down and they are doing the work for it, so its more a self-employed job. rather than a system that creates cashflow which is what im aiming for submitted by /u/vin2002 [link] [comments]
