I’m pretty new to shipping side projects, and I’m starting to get feedback from comments, DMs, forms, and a few other places. Collecting it is easy enough. Figuring out what to do with it is harder. How do you tell a recurring problem from a one-off preference? What do you act on, keep around for later, or simply ignore? I’d love to know: Where does your feedback come from, and where do you keep it? How do you decide what’s worth acting on? Are there any tools that have actually helped? (This is what I’m most curious about, especially any free tools can organize and analyze feedback.) If you can share a recent example of how you handled a batch of feedback, that would be really helpful. Part of the reason I’m asking is that I’ve run into this problem in my own project and started wondering how other builders deal with it.
