Hey everyone, I’m looking for a technical co-founder who wants to build a B2B SaaS business with me from the ground up. The problem: Many small and medium-sized trades businesses – electricians, HVAC companies, roofers, solar installers, etc. – send out a large number of quotes to potential customers. But once a quote has been sent, follow-up is often inconsistent or completely forgotten because the business owner and employees are busy with their day-to-day work. That potentially means lost jobs and revenue. The idea: I want to build a simple SaaS product that automatically manages the follow-up process for open quotes. For example: A business sends a €5,000 quote to a customer. → The quote is added to the system → After X days without a response, the customer receives a personalized follow-up → If there is still no response, another follow-up can be triggered → Once the customer responds, the sequence stops → The business gets a simple dashboard showing open, won and lost quotes Longer term, I could see the product expanding into things like WhatsApp/SMS follow-ups, AI-generated messages, analytics, integrations with existing trades software and possibly lead management. But I don’t want to build 50 features before knowing what customers actually need. The plan is to start with a very small MVP and develop the product directly alongside the first businesses using it. About me: I’m a non-technical founder based in Germany. I won’t pretend to be a developer – that’s exactly why I’m looking for a technical partner. My focus would be on the business side: • Talking to trades businesses and validating the problem • Finding our first pilot customers • Sales and outreach • Customer relationships • Product direction based on customer feedback • Marketing and business development I’m willing to do the uncomfortable part: calling businesses, talking to customers and getting people to actually pay for the product. Who I’m looking for: Ideally, you’re a developer / software engineer who: • Can build a web-based SaaS MVP • Is comfortable with APIs, databases and automation • Is interested in building a product iteratively with real customers • Thinks like a founder rather than just completing development tickets • Is interested in a long-term partnership if we work well together You don’t need to quit your job tomorrow. I’d actually prefer starting small, working together on the MVP and seeing whether we work well as a team before making major commitments. Important: I’m not looking for someone to build my idea for free while I sit back. I’m looking for a genuine co-founder relationship where we bring complementary skills to the table.
