I’ve been building Thailand Dive Map for almost a year. It now has a fairly deep dataset covering dive shops, dive sites, courses and liveaboards across Thailand. But the more data I added, the more obvious another problem became: Giving people more options doesn’t necessarily help them choose. A diver usually doesn’t want to browse 100+ shops or compare dozens of dive sites. They want to know: “What actually fits the kind of diving I want to do?” So I built Find My Dive . For now it’s deliberately simple: What are you looking for? Where / what kind of experience fits you? Narrow the dataset down to relevant options. 3 steps instead of starting from a huge directory. The longer-term idea is more ambitious: I want TDM to eventually help with the entire decision process — discover, compare, decide, enquire, and eventually book, while keeping the structured operator data underneath it.
