Original Summary

I shared FrogPop here a little while ago. It's my first game, built around the old Bubble Trouble idea: pop a big bubble and it turns into smaller ones you still have to dodge. Lately I've been working on the shop and relic screens. The shop is now a little snail-shell trading post, with bottles on shell dishes and a crank that refreshes the stock. The relic cards got another pass too, so the name and effect are easier to pick out. Here's a short bit of gameplay with a shop visit in the middle. You spend Fly Snacks there, which is probably an odd currency choice for a frog. You can try the first ten waves free in your browser: https://blion247.itch.io/frogpop-demo The full game is still in development: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5067810/FrogPop/ The clip combines separate example runs from the current full-game build. Shop stock and relic choices depend on unlocks. The public demo is unchanged and doesn't have these latest visuals yet. AI disclosure: Claude and Codex helped with code and debugging. Some art was made with PixelLab and OpenAI image generation, then edited and integrated. AI also helped prepare this post. Nothing is generated during gameplay. submitted by /u/PerspectivePersonal [link] [comments]
