Hey all, I built Phltr (phltr.net) after watching people in my life nearly fall for phishing texts that were obviously scams to me but not to them. It does three things: paste a link or message (or upload a screenshot) on the site, send it to a WhatsApp bot, or forward a suspicious email to check@phltr.net . It checks links against trusted safety lists, scans wording for urgency/impersonation/requests for sensitive info, and reads screenshots, then gives you a plain-English verdict: safe, suspicious, or scam, plus what to do next. Free, no account, no sign-up. Nothing you submit is stored. It's analyzed in the moment and discarded. Honest limitations: it's a second opinion, not a guarantee. False positives happen, and brand-new scam domains can slip past any list. I'd love feedback on the verdict explanations.
