Original Summary

I built Bunko to keep the original text, pronunciation and a parallel translation on the same page. It is a reader for Chinese, Japanese and English classics. For example, you can open Sanshiro, follow the Japanese with furigana above the characters, and compare an English passage below it. For Chinese texts, there is pinyin. You can change the displayed languages and layout, or go back to the original alone. Downloaded chapters remain readable offline; reading position and preferences stay on the device. The implementation is deliberately small: React, native HTML ruby markup, and chapter-sized JSON files cached in IndexedDB. The book files live in a public GitHub repository; there is no reader account to create. The study translations are AI-generated and can make mistakes. They are reading aids, not scholarly editions.
