I'm a student, I bring my MacBook to every lecture, and I use Claude a lot while I work. A few weeks ago I built a small macOS app for myself and I'd like to know whether anyone else would want it before I decide how far to take it. The idea in one scene: it's 10:41, the lecturer just listed three forms of coordination, I caught two. I type in Claude Desktop: "what was the second one?" Claude answers from the live transcript, with the timestamp. The lecture keeps going, I didn't lose the thread. How it works: A menu-bar app. Pick the course, hit Start, close the window.
