Hey everyone! My friend and I just launched an app called Nectar: Food Scanner. You can scan food and drinks and get a quick breakdown of the ingredients along with a simple rating. One thing we’re especially excited about is connecting ingredients to actual studies and research, so you can learn more about why certain ingredients are flagged instead of just being given a random rating. We’re also working on a daily food news feature that will cover things like recalls, ingredient news, and other food-related stories that might not always make it into mainstream news.
