Hi all, Firstly, I'd like to preface this by saying that this dating app idea is very niche, and may come across as crude or vulgar to some. But, I’ve been building a dating app that’ll feel familiar if you’ve used the big ones, with one main difference: you can list penile length and girth the same way every app already makes you list height. It’s optional, and you choose who sees it: everyone, or only people you’ve matched with. People looking for it can filter on it. That’s the whole idea. Size is self-reported, just like height. Though you can report someone whose stats clearly weren't accurate, and it escalates once more than a couple of people say the same thing about the same profile. The plan is iOS first, in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. There's a waitlist and a video of the app actually running at https://measured.date . What I’d genuinely like your read on: Would you actually use this app? And if not, is it the app itself or the whole premise? An app like this only works if both sides turn up simultaneously (chicken and egg). I've been thinking about targeting the gay community first, since it may be harder to attract heterosexual women early on. Any thoughts on that or other ideas on how to market?
